We were just your average blue collar family - focused on the normal day to day activities of life. That is, until Justin first went to Cochabamba, Bolivia to work with the Bolivian Hope Center (BHC) in 2007 as part of mission's trip with our home church. It was during that trip that the Lord broke his heart for the children of Cochabamba. He returned several times during the next couple of years before finally convincing Janet to come along with him.
Not long ago, one of the Founders of the BHC - one of our very dear friends and mentors - was diagnosed with a dibilitating disease. As a family, we had been to the BHC several times but when we learned of this situation, we knew God was calling us to a longer commitment.
